A week as a veggie! part 1

Hi everyone, in preparation for weaning Blake I’ve decided to make us veggie for a week.  I thought it would make me think about the types of vegetables and fruits I would like to introduce. Also its good to detox our systems from meats every now and then. Being veggie makes you think of more interesting food combinations and flavours.  Sunday and Monday’s recipes were very quick and easy to make.  Great tasty recipes for the whole family!

My new life as Mummy!

Hi everyone, I havent posted anything since last year due to the pre and post pregnancy bubble!  May 8th 2014 I gave birth to our beautiful baby boy Blake Alexander Porter.  Since May I have experienced what Motherhood is really all about. I truly now understand the importance of pre and post natal training.

As someone who trained all the way up to 40 weeks pregnant and had a lot of strength and fitness before pregnancy ,its amazing how much the body goes through! It really does take a while to get back to fitness.  All those pictures of celebrities back in there jeans 2 weeks after giving birth is not realistic.  Women have a lot of pressure to get back in to shape and be this super mum, and its hard.

I’ve now devised with my experience of training so many pre and post natal clients and experiencing the process for myself a special pre/post natal training system.  If you are interested in following this get in touch.

Blake is now 4 and half months old and my training buddy …I’m back at work but mainly visiting clients at their homes with Blake.  I’m certainly not super mum but i try!!
